Marjeanna Burge

Marjeanna’s professional skills and educational research both focus on creative ways to enhance the lives of others, particularly those who are underserved and historically marginalized. A primary passion is toward Native Americans in general and the Comanche Nation specifically. Her focus on young people, who will become our future leaders, is a huge passion of hers.

Her specialties include program administration & development, presentation skills, student development, leadership, academic advising, and DEI topics.

A reflective peacemaker, Marjeanna is hopeful for a world that learns how to care better for all living things.

She completed her Bachelors at Haskell Indian Nations University in American Indian Studies, and Masters at University of Kansas in Global Indigenous Nations Studies, with an emphasis in Peace and Conflict Studies.  She is currently working on her Doctoral Studies at Texas Woman's University in Sociology. Marjeanna is a Sociology Adjunct to the specialities area.
